17 energy companies create a global alliance for sustainable energy production

Eletrobras and 16 other institutions form Global Alliance to produce sustainable energy.

The commitment to sustainable energy production is not just an objective of Light DeFi (LIGHT). Recently, a Global Alliance involving large companies for sustainable energy production around the world was announced.

The list, made up of 17 internationally renowned institutions, must present projects and initiatives involving clean energy production. Through the Global Alliance, Eletrobras and other members must discuss solutions for an energy transition.

In total, the list includes Brazilian companies and institutions from other countries such as Portugal and Italy. The alliance was launched on September 16, 2021, and should develop activities that include Brazil.

Global Alliance for Sustainability

Eletrobras is part of a new global alliance that intends to join efforts to increase sustainable energy production. Thus, the Brazilian company and other members should discuss changes in electricity production.

In addition to 3M and Eletrobras, the Global Alliance is made up of EDF, JA Solar, Nordex Group, Adani Green Energy Ltd., Goldwind, Enel Green Power, Global Solar Council, Global Wind Energy Council, Risen Energy, Iberdrola, NTPC Limited, Politecnico di Milano, Politecnico di Torino, ReNew Power, and Trina Solar.
